Bitcoins banned in Thailand

An extract from the telegraph

“senior members of the Foreign Exchange Administration and Policy Department advised that due to lack of existing applicable laws, capital controls and the fact that Bitcoin straddles multiple financial facets… Bitcoin activities are illegal in Thailand”.

The ruling means it is illegal to buy and sell bitcoins, buy or sell any goods or services in exchange for bitcoins, send any bitcoins to anyone outside of Thailand, or receive bitcoins from anyone outside the country.

Seems to be saying Thailand is the first goverment to officially declare bitcoins illegal. They won´t be the last.It is very obvious as I´ve said many times that bankers and governments will try every trick they can to prevent bitcoins being used as money.

The good news is that bitcoins are out of reach of governments anyway. What are they going to do? Death by firing squad if you are accused of using bitcoin? Just make sure you know how to use Tor.

The currency wars are really this. A war against ordinary people, to take our wealth, to control us, tax us and send us to die in wars, lock us in prisons. To enslave us with debt.
